
# getAtomicCount

You can find the number of atomic entities in your current state. This method is
useful to implement monitoring on the state and also to limit the user inputs.

## Usage

The `getAtomicCount` utility will return the amount of atomic entities with the given
block type.

```ts
getAtomicCount( state: State, blockType: string ) => number
```

## Example

An example of `getAtomicCount` usage:

import { EditorState } from 'draft-js';
import { Editor, getAtomicCount } from 'contenido';
