
# clear

To remove everything (inline styles, block types and entities) from the
current selection you can use the `clear` function.

## Usage

The `clear` utility will clear everything that is selected.

```ts
clear(
  state: State,
  stateHandler: StateHandler,
) => State
```

An example of `clear` usage:

import { Editor, clear } from 'contenido';
